A motivational programme was held at Al-Ameen campus ‘A’ to motivate the students to join Armed Forces on Tuesday, 10th May 2022. With the initiation of Major General, P. Ramesh (VSM) Recruiting Section, Karnataka and Kerala Division, Colonel N.B. Singh conducted the session by conditioning the minds of the students to join Army. He presented the history of Army and the merits of serving the nation through Defence Forces. Major General, P. Ramesh over saw the proceeding of the entire motivational session. Students from all colleges of A & B campuses attended the session.

Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College (AASCC) boys showcased exceptional talent in the All India Inter-University South Zone Hockey Tournament held at Egmore, Chennai. Representing Bengaluru City University (BCU), the team emerged victorious, securing the championship title. Out of the 18-member BCU squad, a remarkable 16 players were from AASCC, highlighting the college’s dominance in the sport. The tournament witnessed participation from over 80 teams, making the victory even more commendable.
The Al-Ameen boys delivered stellar performances throughout the tournament:With this victory, the team has now qualified for the All India Inter-University Hockey Tournament, scheduled to be held in Uttarakhand from February 22 to February 28, 2025. This prestigious tournament will feature the top 16 teams from a total of 1,113 universities across the country. AASCC’s hockey stars have once again put their college on the national map, and all eyes will now be on their performance in Uttarakhand as they compete against India’s finest university teams.
On the occasion of National Mathematics Day, students from the first B.Sc attended a one-day workshop hosted by APS college. In addition, 3rd B.Sc students took part in an intercollege fest hosted by NMKRV college for women.
