Our students had an unforgettable college trip to the beautiful coastal stretch of Karnataka, exploring places like Mangalore, Ullal Juma Masjid, Panambur Beach, Kaup Beach, Half Moon Beach, Gokarna Main Beach, Bhatkal, Malpe Beach, and Murudeshwar (30th March to 1st April 2026). From serene beaches and breathtaking sunsets to spiritual visits and fun-filled moments with friends, every stop added a special memory to the journey. The trip was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and togetherness-filled with laughter, scenic views, and experiences that will be cherished forever.
Our final year M.Sc - Microbiology students enthusiastically participated in MICROCON-2026, a National Conference organized by the Department of Microbiology on “Smart Microbiology: Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology & Entrepreneurial Innovations Towards Sustainability”, held on 25th March 2026 at Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce.
Mrs. Nikhath Nazeer (Dept. of Commerce) Attended the National Seminar on "Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion" and presented a research paper titled "From Access to Empowerment: Digital Payments and Open Finance in Building Inclusive Financial Integration " at KLE Society's S. Nijalingappa College on 13 March 2026, organized by the Department of Commerce, contributing to academic discourse on financial inclusion.

The All India Intercollegiate Hockey Tournament, organized by the Alumni Association of St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, concluded on Saturday, 14th February 2026.
The players of Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College emerged victorious in the finals against Jain University with a score of (3–2). On their path to the championship, the team delivered remarkable performances, defeating St. John’s Medical College (15–0), securing a draw against St. Joseph’s University, and overcoming St. Joseph’s Commerce College (3–1).
The outstanding performance of the team brought great pride and honor to the institution.

The Final MSc Microbiology students, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Bengaluru, participated in the 47th National Symposium on “Emerging and Re-emerging Infections with a Focus on Antimicrobial Resistance”, organized by the Sun Pharma Science Foundation in collaboration with St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, on Friday, 30th January 2026.
The symposium provided valuable academic exposure to current challenges in antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, and malaria, covering topics such as non-traditional antibacterial strategies, mechanisms of drug resistance, host–pathogen interactions, microbial stress responses, and antimalarial resistance. The sessions enhanced students’ understanding of innovative therapeutic approaches, stewardship strategies, and emerging computational tools in infectious disease research and public health.
An orientation session on Project Report Writing was conducted for final-year B.Com students on 30 January 2026. The session guided students on structuring, formatting, and presenting their project reports effectively.
The Department of PG Microbiology, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Bengaluru, successfully conducted an academic visit to the National Tuberculosis Institute (NTI), Bengaluru, on Thursday, 29th January 2026, with 20 PG Microbiology students and faculty members.
The visit provided valuable exposure to tuberculosis diagnostic procedures, including microscopy, culture techniques, and Drug Sensitivity Testing (DST). Students gained practical insights into biosafety practices, laboratory workflow, and the role of NTI in TB control and public health.
