The Glory of Ganga – Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Our B.A. and B.Sc. students visited the Lalbagh Flower Show and explored the theme “The Glory of the Ganga Empire” on 11 Aug 2026.

The visit helped students gain information about the rich history, heritage, culture, architecture, and biodiversity associated with the Ganga Empire, while also appreciating the beauty of nature and floral art.

The faculties of the Commerce Department UG participated in the One-Day Syllabus Orientation Workshop for the Fifth Semester - SEP B.Com, BBA and BBA (Aviation Management) Programmes on 11 Aug 2026, organized by the Department of Studies and Research in Commerce, Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, in association with Bengaluru City University Teachers’ Council of Commerce and Management at Central College.

The workshop provided valuable insights into the Fifth Semester syllabus, academic updates, and curriculum orientation.

Orientation on Add-on Skill Development Courses | 1st July 2026

The Department of Commerce conducted an Orientation Program on Add-on Skill Development Courses for First-Year B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. students.

The session, led by Mr. Dharmendra, CEO, Net Craft, highlighted the importance of industry-ready skills, certifications, and career opportunities. Students gained valuable insights into skill-based courses that complement their academic journey and enhance employability.

The NSS Unit of Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, proudly participated in the National Pulse Polio Immunization Activity on 28th June 2026, contributing to the mission of protecting every child from polio.

Our college hosted a one-day state-level seminar on “Gandhiji and the Youth of Today” in collaboration with Karnataka Gandhi Memorial Fund, NSS Cell, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, and the Gandhian Studies Centre (IQAC) on 5th May 2026. The event featured two technical sessions, an intercollegiate quiz competition, and concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Congratulations to all the winners!

Mega Job Fair - 28th April 2026 in association with Reliance Foundation and Smart Refer Hub was a grand success! With 50+ companies and a huge crowd of enthusiastic aspirants rushing with excitement, the venue was full of energy. Huge thanks to our respected Principal, placement committee, staff, and students for making it happen.

Our students proudly participated in the Bengaluru Dream Big Initiative on 25th April 2026.An inspiring platform focused on Early goal setting - Dream Big, career clarity, and mentorship, where young minds connected with accomplished mentors and explored their future paths. With the powerful motto “No student should be left behind unguided”, our students took a step closer to building their dreams and contributing to the nation.

It is a moment of immense pride for the institution as Mohammed Junaid, III B.Com - President of the Student Council, achieves a significant academic milestone. His research has been officially published in the Journal of Scholastic Engineering Science and Management (JSESM), a UGC-approved journal affiliated with the National Science Library, Government of India. This accomplishment exemplifies a rare synergy between rigorous academic research and visionary student leadership. By analyzing complex financial frameworks, Junaid has set a prestigious benchmark for his peers, demonstrating that true leadership is inherently rooted in intellectual depth and scholarly discipline.

Congratulations to Mr. Dhanush C, Lecturer, Dept. of Sociology, for securing 1st Rank in Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University Exams 2024–25 and was honored with a Gold Medal by the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka. A proud moment for us.

NSS volunteers from BCom & BSc actively contributed towards a plastic-free environment through a cleanliness drive at Half Moon Beach, Gokarna on 31st March 2026. Together for a cleaner and greener tomorrow

Our students had an unforgettable college trip to the beautiful coastal stretch of Karnataka, exploring places like Mangalore, Ullal Juma Masjid, Panambur Beach, Kaup Beach, Half Moon Beach, Gokarna Main Beach, Bhatkal, Malpe Beach, and Murudeshwar (30th March to 1st April 2026). From serene beaches and breathtaking sunsets to spiritual visits and fun-filled moments with friends, every stop added a special memory to the journey. The trip was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and togetherness-filled with laughter, scenic views, and experiences that will be cherished forever.

Our final year M.Sc - Microbiology students enthusiastically participated in MICROCON-2026, a National Conference organized by the Department of Microbiology on “Smart Microbiology: Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology & Entrepreneurial Innovations Towards Sustainability”, held on 25th March 2026 at Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce.

Mrs. Nikhath Nazeer (Dept. of Commerce) Attended the National Seminar on "Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion" and presented a research paper titled "From Access to Empowerment: Digital Payments and Open Finance in Building Inclusive Financial Integration " at KLE Society's S. Nijalingappa College on 13 March 2026, organized by the Department of Commerce, contributing to academic discourse on financial inclusion.

The All India Intercollegiate Hockey Tournament, organized by the Alumni Association of St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, concluded on Saturday, 14th February 2026.

The players of Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College emerged victorious in the finals against Jain University with a score of (3–2). On their path to the championship, the team delivered remarkable performances, defeating St. John’s Medical College (15–0), securing a draw against St. Joseph’s University, and overcoming St. Joseph’s Commerce College (3–1).

The outstanding performance of the team brought great pride and honor to the institution.
