The All India Intercollegiate Hockey Tournament, organized by the Alumni Association of St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, concluded on Saturday, 14th February 2026.
The players of Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College emerged victorious in the finals against Jain University with a score of (3–2). On their path to the championship, the team delivered remarkable performances, defeating St. John’s Medical College (15–0), securing a draw against St. Joseph’s University, and overcoming St. Joseph’s Commerce College (3–1).
The outstanding performance of the team brought great pride and honor to the institution.
The Department of Commerce organized an Orientation Session on Higher Progression Opportunities for final-year B.Com students on 13th February 2026 in collaboration with Tempting Table Ventures, KGCC, and Apex Group.

Our students participated in the Three-Day INDO-US Workshop on Hazardous Materials Management using AI Tools organized by Ghousia College of Engineering, Ramanagara, Bengaluru South from 10–12 February 2026. Which helped them strengthen their skills in hazardous materials management, explore AI applications, and broaden their global perspective.

Cancer Awareness Talk & Rally. In coordination with Agadi Hospital, we came together on 3rd February 2026 to spread awareness, encourage early detection, and stand united against cancer. Because awareness today can save lives tomorrow.
The Final MSc Microbiology students, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Bengaluru, participated in the 47th National Symposium on “Emerging and Re-emerging Infections with a Focus on Antimicrobial Resistance”, organized by the Sun Pharma Science Foundation in collaboration with St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, on Friday, 30th January 2026.
The symposium provided valuable academic exposure to current challenges in antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, and malaria, covering topics such as non-traditional antibacterial strategies, mechanisms of drug resistance, host–pathogen interactions, microbial stress responses, and antimalarial resistance. The sessions enhanced students’ understanding of innovative therapeutic approaches, stewardship strategies, and emerging computational tools in infectious disease research and public health.
An orientation session on Project Report Writing was conducted for final-year B.Com students on 30 January 2026. The session guided students on structuring, formatting, and presenting their project reports effectively.
The Department of PG Microbiology, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Bengaluru, successfully conducted an academic visit to the National Tuberculosis Institute (NTI), Bengaluru, on Thursday, 29th January 2026, with 20 PG Microbiology students and faculty members.
The visit provided valuable exposure to tuberculosis diagnostic procedures, including microscopy, culture techniques, and Drug Sensitivity Testing (DST). Students gained practical insights into biosafety practices, laboratory workflow, and the role of NTI in TB control and public health.
MoU Signed for Academic–Industry Collaboration
Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Petluri Edu-Tech (OPC) India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru on 20 December 2025 . This collaboration, facilitated by the PG Department of Commerce, marks a step forward in strengthening industry exposure, skill development, and academic excellence.

Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, in association with the Bengaluru City Police, organised an insightful Awareness Programme on Women & Children Safety, Anti-Narcotic Activities, Cyber Crime, and Traffic Awareness on 01-12-2025. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in a meaningful Q&A that deepened their understanding of real-life issues and preventive measures. The programme concluded with a collective pledge to stay alert, promote safety, and contribute to a more responsible and aware society.
