The Training & Placement Cell of Al-Ameen Arts, Science and Commerce College, in collaboration with certified training partner Reliance Foundation, organized a Certified Employability Training Program for all UG & PG students from 18th to 24th August 2026.
The program focuses on essential career skills including Resume Writing, Group Discussion & Interview Skills, Aptitude Training, Communication Skills, and Industry Readiness, providing students with a valuable opportunity to enhance their confidence, employability, and career prospects.
Along with the training sessions, students actively participated in fun and engaging activities, creating an energetic and enjoyable learning environment. These activities helped students develop focus, listening skills, quick response, coordination, concentration, teamwork, and confidence.
We are delighted to share that the Hockey Team of Al-Ameen Arts, Science and Commerce College has secured 1st Place at the 10th Hockey Karnataka League Championship 2026, held from 8th July to 21st August 2026!
With nearly 13 teams from across Karnataka participating in the league, this victory is truly a remarkable achievement.

The Glory of Ganga – Learning Beyond the Classroom!
Our B.A. and B.Sc. students visited the Lalbagh Flower Show and explored the theme “The Glory of the Ganga Empire” on 11 Aug 2026.
The visit helped students gain information about the rich history, heritage, culture, architecture, and biodiversity associated with the Ganga Empire, while also appreciating the beauty of nature and floral art.
The faculties of the Commerce Department UG participated in the One-Day Syllabus Orientation Workshop for the Fifth Semester - SEP B.Com, BBA and BBA (Aviation Management) Programmes on 11 Aug 2026, organized by the Department of Studies and Research in Commerce, Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, in association with Bengaluru City University Teachers’ Council of Commerce and Management at Central College.

The Department of Commerce conducted an Orientation Program on Add-on Skill Development Courses for First-Year B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. students.

Our college hosted a one-day state-level seminar on “Gandhiji and the Youth of Today” in collaboration with Karnataka Gandhi Memorial Fund, NSS Cell, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, and the Gandhian Studies Centre (IQAC) on 5th May 2026. The event featured two technical sessions, an intercollegiate quiz competition, and concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Congratulations to all the winners!
