DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
The department of psychology was started in 2018. The department is well equipped with modern laboratories catering to the academic and theoretical practical needs of the students.
Psychology is the scientific study of Human mind and behavior's; it functions mental characteristics and attitude of a person. A psychologists can help the people to improve their decision making, stress management and behavior-based understanding. The knowledge of psychology makes a person to learn to make wiser choices.
The primary Goals of psychology are:

- Predict
- Change in behavior
Some of the areas of Psychology includes clinical psychology, counselling psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, neuro psychology, health psychology and forensic psychology etc.
Psychology allows people to understand more about how the body and mind works together and this knowledge can help in decision making and avoiding, it will make the students to understand behaviors, emotions, and ideas.
OBJECTIVES
- To acquire qualitative and quantitative knowledge.
- To sensitize students to psycho-social issues to catalyze a climate of social responsibility.
- To lay foundations that foster a research-based approach.
- To facilitate a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, and keeping abreast of the changing dynamics in the field of psychology.
