The department of zoology was established in the year 1968 and was nurtured under the leadership of the following stalwarts.

The department actively extends its support and expertise in various academic and non-academic activities both within and outside the college.

• Creating awareness to construction labourers about wild life protection and self-protection against snake bites .

• Conduction of college day, sports activities, annual exhibition talents day, and various others activities, the staff of the department along with students become proactive and make the event successful.
